Born in Kamloops, BC, Melissa grew up in Australia before moving to Canada at a young age.
Melissa has traveled extensively with her family, and has been to Mexico, parts of Europe, and New Zealand.
Travel has always been an important part of Melissa's life and because of this innate love for travel, pursuing a career in tourism felt like the natural progression.
She worked in the hospitality industry for the Delta Lodge in Kananaskis, Alberta before moving to Vancouver to complete the Tourism Management program at Capilano University.
For Melissa, travelling outside of the country made her realize how lucky she is to be living in Canada, resulting in a desire to share Canada and Alaska with the rest of the world.
