I would highly recommend Canada Rail Vacations and would certainly use them again when going to another area they service.

Jennifer organized a trip for myself, my husband, my daughter and her 4 children to Banff, Lake Louise, and Jasper. The transportation, accommodations, and tours were superb. We had a little rocky start on arrival with transportation to Calgary hotel but Jennifer went out of her way to take care of it immediately. I cannot say enough about the service we received. Everything else ran very smoothly and we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there.

We really enjoyed our tour

of eastern Canada with Canada Rail Vacations. Andre was very helpful and responsive to questions as we researched and booked the tour. There was a good combination of scheduled tours and free time to explore on our own. This is not a tour where you travel with one large group and guide the whole time. We liked that it was more like traveling on our own but with hotels, train, and some (not all) transportation was pre-planned.

We have just come back from 10+ days tour from Vancouver to Jasper/Lake Louise/Banff/Kamloops back to Vancouver via train/bus. We had a great time. From the driver that met us at Seattle Airport, to the staff at Alexis hotel, everyone made us feel welcome. What a trip!!! Thank you Karen J. from Canada Rail Vacations! What a trip!!!! Karen J. from Canada Rail Vacations was amazing in helping us to plan our once in a lifetime trip! Everything was planned perfectly. Thanks to Karen, we stayed in the beautiful Rimrock hotel in Banff- across of the Hot springs and five minutes away from the Gondola. We were picked up for our day trips from our hotel and enjoyed the beauty of the place. In Jasper-Karen suggested to stay at Fairmont Jasper. We LOVED the resort and got a beautiful cabin on the lake. That was an amazing surprise for us! Again the day trips were well organized from A to Z. We finished the trip with a two day ride on the Mountaineer from Jasper to Vancouver (we got the silver leaf and we were so very happy with it). Canada Rail vacation's staff always responded by email of a phone call, also when Karen was away.

From the overnight train to Jasper, through the ice fields to Lake Louise and on to Banff, the accommodations could not have been better. The Banff Springs Hotel was breathtaking.
