We are back again from a wonderful trip in the Rockies. Everything was great! The Fairmont hotels we loved it. We had wonderful rooms in each hotel, the bus transfers very good arranged. We enjoyed our trips - snowshoeing, ice canyon walk, sleigh-ride, is was all fantastic! I was happily surprised with the informative travel documents with the lonely planet guide that we received on arrival in the Banff Springs hotel. My wife and I have just returned from a holiday in the Canadian Rockies, designed and coordinated by Canada Rail Vacations. My initial enquiry about a vacation package on their website received an immediate response asking about our preferences - budget, duration, standard of hotels, excursions, etc. An ongoing dialogue via email allowed CRV to tailor a holiday which included all the towns/villages we wanted to see, some amazing hotels, exciting excursions, and at a very affordable price. (We had to exclude the dog-sledding on price and a snow-shoe trip based on our age !!). We were given all the information we needed, and payment was not required until shortly before departure. The itinerary included details of all hotels, daily activities, reservation codes, and clear directions to make our connections. A very late train to Vancouver taught us that VIA Rail's timetable was a guide only, but CRV did everything imaginable to guide us through the crisis, including paying for an extra night in our Jasper hotel. I am sure that CRV will attend to your vacation needs, showing the same dedication as they did with ours.

Jennifer organized a trip for myself, my husband, my daughter and her 4 children to Banff, Lake Louise, and Jasper. The transportation, accommodations, and tours were superb. We had a little rocky start on arrival with transportation to Calgary hotel but Jennifer went out of her way to take care of it immediately. I cannot say enough about the service we received. Everything else ran very smoothly and we thoroughly enjoyed our time spent there.

To celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, my wife and I just took the Canadian Rockies Rail Winter Escapades trip, with the VIA Rail Prestige class and upgraded Fairmont hotel options. First of all, he wanted to understand the purpose of our trip and if we had been to these locations before. He also ensured the hotels knew this was a celebration trip. Dale and I just returned from our "Ice Field Discovery" trip. Our vacation could not have been better! Everything was taken care of so we did not have to worry about anything! The train trip was a throw back in time to the 1950's and reminded me of the Zephyr that I rode as a child. Of course, there were many upgrades but the ambiance was so romantic! The bus trip from Jasper to Lake Louise was great. It was an intimate charter bus so we made friends with the other passengers. We made several stops on our journey for pictures and points of interest. Our driver was fantastic. Lake Louise and Banff were the highlights! Our hotel accommodations were upgraded so we got to stay in the "gold" area of the hotel. It was very special. Thank you Canada Rail Vacations so much for a wonderful vacation that created memories for our lifetime! You did a great job!
