We LOVED the resort and got a beautiful cabin on the lake. That was an amazing surprise for us! Again the day trips were well organized from A to Z. We finished the trip with a two day ride on the Mountaineer from Jasper to Vancouver (we got the silver leaf and we were so very happy with it). Canada Rail vacation's staff always responded by email of a phone call, also when Karen was away.

We have just come back from 10+ days tour from Vancouver to Jasper/Lake Louise/Banff/Kamloops back to Vancouver via train/bus. We had a great time. We really enjoyed our tour

of eastern Canada with Canada Rail Vacations. Andre was very helpful and responsive to questions as we researched and booked the tour. There was a good combination of scheduled tours and free time to explore on our own. This is not a tour where you travel with one large group and guide the whole time. We liked that it was more like traveling on our own but with hotels, train, and some (not all) transportation was pre-planned.

It went flawlessly

You did a great job of offering me excursions that were just right for me. The train portion was wonderful! I had never been overnight on a train. I loved the special little compartment, and the food was very good. All in all, an absolutely delightful trip, thank you for doing a perfect job of putting it all together for me.

When we turned off, there were all these trees covered in snow. It was like a Christmas tree fairyland.

I failed to mention how much we liked the hotel in Calgary. What a beautiful building. Our view out the window was the tower. What a treat when it started changing colors at night. It was snowing pretty good. So coming from Texas in the summer it was really special, almost magical. We did not get to see the lake he thought was so pretty cause it was too cloudy, but seeing the snow and trees it did not matter.
