We really enjoyed our tour

of eastern Canada with Canada Rail Vacations. Andre was very helpful and responsive to questions as we researched and booked the tour. There was a good combination of scheduled tours and free time to explore on our own. This is not a tour where you travel with one large group and guide the whole time. We liked that it was more like traveling on our own but with hotels, train, and some (not all) transportation was pre-planned.

To celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, my wife and I just took the Canadian Rockies Rail Winter Escapades trip, with the VIA Rail Prestige class and upgraded Fairmont hotel options. First of all, he wanted to understand the purpose of our trip and if we had been to these locations before. He also ensured the hotels knew this was a celebration trip. He really wanted this to be a perfect trip for us. The trip was absolutely FANTASTIC! From start to finish, every detail, every adventure, every day! We have just come back from 10+ days tour from Vancouver to Jasper/Lake Louise/Banff/Kamloops back to Vancouver via train/bus. We had a great time. I would like to highly commend travel agent Alekh Singh for putting together a customized, detailed itinerary for both East and West Canada. We are not young, my husband has mobility issues, and we are on a tight budget, but Alekh made it work. He was super prompt in the communication from Vancouver to Melbourne, very patient with all my extra requests, and went above and beyond in ensuring all our needs & wants were accommodated for. He even checked with hotels re mobility and threw in some extra bonuses. I cannot speak highly enough of his efficient service and especially of his kindness, care, and attention to individual detail, something quite rare these days. We know everything will be arranged and we will be looked after - thanks to Alekh and Canada Rail.

What a trip!!! Thank you Karen J. from Canada Rail Vacations! What a trip!!!! Karen J. from Canada Rail Vacations was amazing in helping us to plan our once in a lifetime trip! Everything was planned perfectly. Thanks to Karen, we stayed in the beautiful Rimrock hotel in Banff- across of the Hot springs and five minutes away from the Gondola. We were picked up for our day trips from our hotel and enjoyed the beauty of the place. In Jasper-Karen suggested to stay at Fairmont Jasper. We LOVED the resort and got a beautiful cabin on the lake. That was an amazing surprise for us! Again the day trips were well organized from A to Z. We finished the trip with a two day ride on the Mountaineer from Jasper to Vancouver (we got the silver leaf and we were so very happy with it). Canada Rail vacation's staff always responded by email of a phone call, also when Karen was away.

We wanted to thank Jasmine Wong and Canada Rail Vacations. for our great fly and self-drive vacation traveling to Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper, Edmonton & Drumheller AB from July 24th to August 1st. We had a great time. Good accommodation. Great venues - Banff Sulphur Mt. Gondola, Banff Hot Springs, Columbia Icefield excursion and Tyrell Museum. The weather was perfect, the scenery was breathtaking and the wildlife sightings in and around Jasper and Elk Island National Park were an extra special bonus. When we turned off, there were all these trees covered in snow. It was like a Christmas tree fairyland.

I failed to mention how much we liked the hotel in Calgary. What a beautiful building. Our view out the window was the tower. What a treat when it started changing colors at night. It was snowing pretty good. So coming from Texas in the summer it was really special, almost magical. We did not get to see the lake he thought was so pretty cause it was too cloudy, but seeing the snow and trees it did not matter.

We had a fabulous time on our Canadian adventure!

We loved everything that was planned. The train trip to Montreal worked out really well, they kept bringing us food and drinks and the seats and views were great. Then we arrived and just had to go up the elevator to our hotel which was beautiful and had a wonderful view from our room. The food tour the next day was really fun- lots of good tastes and sights to see! All in all, the trip was fab so thanks again for all your help!
