Having grown up in beautiful British Columbia, Julia first fell in love with travel after exploring Europe at the age of 16.
At the time, she visited 5 different countries within 2.
5 weeks, and after visiting more European destinations she's set a goal to go back every few years to see more.
Her love for tourism developed while attending classes at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, from where she graduated with a Tourism Management Diploma.
Over the next few years, Julia wants to explore more North American destinations and then try Asia.
What is your favorite place in Canada?
My favorite place in Canada is Whistler. You cant beat a village walk while it’s freshly snowing or hanging out with your friends at a restaurant in the summer. No matter the season there is always something to do outdoors.
What is your best travel memory in Canada?
The best Canadian travel memory I have is jet skiing, boating, and tubing on Okanagan Lake with family throughout the summer. It's hilarious watching people fly off the tube, and jet skiing never gets old! I always recommend trying it as it really feels like you’re flying.
What one thing in Canada should you experience at least once?
Zip lining in Whistler! I did it in the summer but winter also looks amazing. They took us up Cougar mountain in ATV’s and it was surreal going down and seeing how high you were.
